We are upgrading the way crypto deposit addresses are generated and displayed inside the SunCrypto app. As part of this upgrade, crypto deposits will no longer be supported on older versions of the app.

From Monday, 24 August 2026, users on older app versions will not be able to view or generate crypto deposit addresses. To continue depositing more than 50+ crypto into your SunCrypto wallet, you must update to the latest version of the app.

What is changing?
Deposit address generation is moving to an updated system on our latest app release. Older builds will lose access to this function on the cutoff date. Once the change takes effect, the deposit section on outdated versions will stop showing addresses and QR codes.

This change applies only to crypto deposits. Everything else on your account continues to work as usual.

What do you need to do?

  • Step 1: Open the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store on your phone.

  • Step 2: Search for SunCrypto and tap Update. If you do not see an Update button, you are already on the latest version.

  • Step 3: Open the app, go to the Portfolio section, search for the coin you wish to deposit, and click on it.

  • Step 4: Select the network type and either copy the new deposit address shown in the updated app or scan the QR code.

Note: Do not deposit funds using a deposit address you saved earlier in your notes, chats or screenshots. Do not reuse an address stored in your withdrawal whitelist on another exchange or wallet without checking it against the app first.

Always open the updated SunCrypto app and copy a fresh address at the time of each deposit. Crypto transactions are irreversible once broadcast to the blockchain, and sending funds to an outdated address can cause delays in crediting or, in some cases, permanent loss.

Also make sure the network you select on the sending platform matches the network shown in the SunCrypto app. For example, a USDT deposit sent on BEP20 must use the BEP20 address, not the TRC20 one.

Why we are making this change

The updated deposit system improves address security, reduces the chance of network mismatch errors, and allows us to add support for new tokens and networks faster. Retiring support for older builds lets us maintain a single, secure deposit flow for all users rather than supporting multiple legacy versions with different behaviour.

It also keeps our deposit infrastructure aligned with the compliance and security standards we follow as an FIU-IND registered exchange.
