  • Opening a Position (Normal Fees Apply): When you open a futures position on SunCrypto, you can place any order type (Market, Limit, Stop, etc.). Standard Maker or Taker fees apply at the time of position creation. These fees are normally charged as per the platform's fee structure.


  • Closing a Position Within 15 Minutes (Zero Fees): If you close your futures position within 15 minutes of opening it, no trading fees will be charged on the closing trades. The 15-minute timer starts from the position creation time. This benefit applies to both Maker and Taker closing orders.


Note: You can close fully and partially any position using any order type. As long as it happens within the 15-minute window.



Partial Close & Position Flip Rules Explained


  • For Long Positions: Reducing the position size without flipping it into a short position will be treated as a valid closing trade. If this reduction happens within the 15-minute window, the closing portion will be free of trading fees. 


If a single order fully closes the long position or flips it into a short position, only the quantity that brings the position down to zero will be eligible for the fee waiver. Any extra quantity that opens a new short position will be charged normal trading fees.


  • For Short Positions: If you partially close your short position and remain in a short trade, the reduced portion will be fee-free when executed within the time limit. 


If your order fully closes the short position or flips it into a long position, the fee exemption will apply only to the portion that closes the position to zero. Any new long position created will follow the standard fee structure.


Important Notes

Offer applies only to Futures Market trades, and the fee waiver is applicable only on the closing side of the trade. Position must be closed within 15 minutes of opening to avail the offer. Please note that opening fees still apply.

Also, other charges such as funding fees, liquidation fees, and others will be charged as usual.
