How to Generate a Ticket for Changing Your Email Address

To initiate the process, you need to submit a support ticket through the SunCrypto app. Along with the ticket, you must provide two specific photos as described below.


Step 1: Take a Photo with Your ID Proof



  • Prepare Your ID Proof: Use the same ID proof you submitted during your KYC process (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License).

  • Take the Photo: Hold your ID proof in one hand. Ensure your face and the details on the ID proof are clearly visible in the photo.


Step 2: Take a Photo with a Paper Containing Key Details



On a clean sheet of paper, write the following information clearly:


  • UID: XXXX

  • Today's Date: MM/DD/YYYY

  • Your Current Email Address: [email protected]

  • Your New Email Address: [email protected]

  • Statement: "I want to change my email address for my SunCrypto account UID XXXX."

  • Your Signature: Ensure the signature matches the one on your ID proof. If the signature doesn’t match, your request will be rejected.

  • Take the Photo: Hold the paper in one hand. Ensure your face and all the details written on the paper are clearly visible in the photo.


Note: The signature on the paper must match the one on your ID proof. Requests with mismatched signatures will not be processed. 


Step 3: Submit a Support Ticket


  • Log in to the SunCrypto app.

  • Navigate to the Support section.

  • Click on Create a New Ticket.

  • Upload both photos (one with your ID proof and one with the paper).

  • In the description, mention that you wish to change your registered email address.


Important Notes


  • Your email address change request, essential for securing your account, will be processed within 48 hours. Ensure that no existing SunCrypto account is already linked to your new email address.


  • SunCrypto accounts are exclusively operable within India. If you relocate outside of India, please be aware that changing your email address and continuing account operations will not be feasible.


  • If you have a new email address, do not attempt to register a new account or begin the KYC procedure with it. This is done to avoid creating duplicate accounts using the same KYC documentation. Please contact our Support instead to arrange an email address change. We will take the necessary steps.
